As Dr. Sue Johnson says: “You can have a very complicated tango with lots of moves but in the end in any tango there are five basic moves that you do all the time and that you go back to, and I think EFT is like that. For me the five basic moves that you do all the time in every session and if you get lost you go back to them are:
- Reflect process
- Deepen emotion
- Create an enactment
- Process the enactment
- Summarize and then reflect process again.
